Not considering this weekend a full-blown success, but it was BETTER. I
was more in control and stayed active. Saturday, I was out chopping up
branches from the trees we've cut down and burning stuff for 6 hours.
(Yay for fire!) Holy carp was I stiff the next day! Ate well, though,
so that's a plus.
Sunday, I was in total control. Stayed within my allotted calories and
even did some Just Dance 3 a little in the evening. I think this coming
weekend will be a total success! I'm excited for it!
We bought Bear's and my Halloween costumes yesterday. I've accepted
that this was an utter failure, but I'm ok with it because what's
success without a little failure. I was still able to buy a
normal-sized costume, so I'm psyched! Bear is going to be Supergirl and
I'm going to be Batgirl! Nick refuses to dress up for Halloween until
I'll let him buy a REAL Storm Trooper costume (we're talking hundreds of
dollars...yeah...). I'm hoping to be back to where I started by
Halloween. That would be a success for me.
On another note, I'm fairly certain my Sweat Points to calories burned
ratio was wrong...why? Because according to that formula, I burned 1200
calories in one hour this morning...no frakking way. Did another
search for it online and found a 10 to 1 ratio, which seems more
likely. So I burned 500 calories this morning. Holy smokes, it's fun!
Have a great day, y'all!

Back On Track
I got up to 195 last Monday, but have gotten back down to 192 as of
this Monday, so I'm feeling pretty good. I still have yet to have an
OP weekend, but I'm determined that this one will be the one!
DETERMINED, I tell you!
Bought Just Dance 3 last night and it is SO much fun! I highly recommend it. Consensus on the net is that 4.2 Sweat Points = 1 Calorie burned. Last night, I was dancing with the game and Nick and I noticed Bear had stood up and was dancing (aka bouncing) with the music, too. So he started recording and it was a good thing, too because next thing we know, she's taking her wobbly first few steps! I couldn't believe it!
Feeling super inspired and glad for life right now! Hope you're having a great day, too!

I ♥ Tuna
Tuna...is...wonderful. My daughter doesn't think so, but I think
it has to do with the fact it's difficult to chew for her. It's nommy.
And when mixed with low-fat mayo and sweet relish and spread on 1 slice
of bread, it's not unhealthy either. It was only 185 calories
according to myfitnesspal and I feel very satisfied.
Oikos Greek Yogurt, however, tastes like butt. I hate it. I bought enough for the whole week and couldn't barely swallow one bite...Still trying to figure out what to do for breakfast this week...ended up skipping this morning because I couldn't decide. Maybe eggs for tomorrow???
Big family dinner tonight. I know there will be grilled chicken and rice-a-roni for sure and God only knows what else...lol. I'm determined to stay on plan today, so I will.
I will close with typing out a vocal warm-up I learned in choir in middle school...ahem:
I love Bumblebee! Bumblebee Tuna!
I love Bumblebee! Bumblebee Tuna!
Yum! Yum! Bumblebee! Bumblebee Tuna!
I love my sandwich made with Bumblebeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Temptation Challenges
So I watch The Biggest Loser, along with many other people in the
world, and something occurred to me the other day when I was sitting
around the fire pit rejecting a s'more. Temptation Challenges...they're
always HUGE in the show and life isn't always THAT bad. For example,
last week, the contestants had a choice to eat a full plate of donuts so
they could select which time of day their team would work out (the
winner ate 37!!!!!). When in real life are you going to be tempted with
eating 37 donuts? Probably never, but there are real life decisions we
make in regards to food every day.
One thing for me is a seasonal thing that comes around EVERY October...and no...it's not Halloween. It's Monopoly at McDonald's. What is it about those little pull tabs? The possibility to win instantly a NEW CAR?!? Or money to help my family get out of debt or finish our portion of the house? I don't knowexactly what the draw is for me, but no matter what's going on, I always fail to McDonald's in October. I've eaten there 3 times in the last 4 days and my body hates me. The temptation there? Exchange my diet for fun and the possibility to win (btw...the only thing I've won is a medium fries and 60 coke points...).
Another temptation that gets me every time, and I'm sure it gets you too, is family eating. Whether it's at home or eating out. Everyone else is eating...can you resist the temptation to eat, too? Or what about when a family member goes out of the way to get something deliciously sinful JUST for you? What about then? Lately, I've been having a lot of big family meals, mainly because Nick, Bear, and I are living out at The Barn and the family has been eating like they normally do. Oh...there's always a healthier way to eat, but who can resist the bread? The rice-a-roni? The pasta? The cake, cookies, and ice cream? Maybe I can now that I've gotten behind why I give in all the time.

I'm searching for a job in either Monroe, Redmond, or Kirkland, WA. I'm interested in Administrative Assistant positions or Assistant Teacher/Helper positions in day care. If you know of anything, please let me know.

Blog Renewed!
I've been posting blogs on Weight Watchers and had a break between when I started this blog the first time and now. When I restarted WW in September of 2010 after having my baby, I was 242 lbs. I am now 195. I am needing to drop WW because of financial reasons, but have found blogging to be so helpful for me in the past that I intend to keep up with this one. I'll be continuing my weight loss journey with myfitnesspal.com. I've already started the transition and will be completely be over there at the end of this month. The app and website are amazing. Looking forward to more success!
